July 2015 | Wedding | Christian and Ha

Location: Fountain Blue, Des Plaines, IL

Its been a while since we were at the Fountain Blue and was great to be back!

X-Fade provided the DJ, emcee, party lighting, and uplights.

The night started out with live music covers performed by Julian Bell and Elijah Knoll during cocktail hour.  They covered several modern hits and nostalgic classics for everyone to enjoy.  We felt the audience’s high energy from the beginning and immediately knew we were in for a great night.

The grand entrance was quite entertaining.  Each group of 1 bridesmaid along with 2 groomsmen selected their own songs to walk into.  The parents of the groom surprised everyone by entering to Silento’s “Watch Me,” otherwise known as the whip and nae nae song.  Christian and Ha fittingly walked out to Heaven Sent by Keyshia Cole.

Dinner was then served followed by speeches by the Maid of Honor, Best Man and Brother of the Groom that had the room in tears, including us!  Following dinner, guests were invited to go outside to light up sparklers for a festive display, considering it was also Independence Day.  We then had their mother/son, father/daugter and first dances which went straight into open dance for the remainder of the night.  The dance floor was slammed the entire night as we played top 40, hip-hop and some old school Euro Dance that took us back to the days we first starting spinning!

We were grateful for the compliments of our services that night especially from the parents of both sides of the family.  It doesn’t get much more rewarding than that!
